My Story
The discovery of my passion
Everything started when I was a little girl.
My mom’s friend used to own a floral store back in my homeland Lithuania.
Whenever I heard that my mom is going to visit her friend I used to jump for joy because I knew that every time I go there my moms' friend always let me make one floral design for myself to keep.
And let me tell you I have been obsessed ever since.
However, this story will not go as you expect it to since my mom and I did not see much potential in being a florist in Lithuania.
“Opportunities don’t happen - you create them”
In 2008 I graduated from Vilnius University with Bachelor's degree in English Philology.
At the time I had a Go-Go Dancing agency I moved all over Europe teaching girls how to dance while part-time teaching children the English language.
I ended up in United States Los Angeles and finally picked up my forgotten obsession for making floral designs.
A floral store hired me and I used to work 12-hour shifts and gather every bit of information about flowers and decorations I came across.
As the saying goes opportunities don’t happen - you create them.
After 2 years of being a dependent florist when the opportunity came, I quit my job, sold my car, packed up 2 giant suitcases, and moved to my dream city - Miami.
The Pandemic
While it wasn’t easy at first I finally started landing my first clients…
Then the worst happened… The Quarantine
Everything shut down and I became dependent on my savings.
I was very frightened and left with two options
- Move back to Europe
- Live off of my savings in Miami
With many people told me that I would never become a florist due to the competitive environment
I was starting to lose hope…
A blessing in disguise
All flights from the United States to Europe were canceled and with no other option, I did one thing…
I was perfecting my craft of making floral designs at home and uploading them online.
To my relief, after half a year or so, some of the clients started coming back and making orders.
The restrictions from the government started to ease off and I made a bunch of business cards and started visiting every store that would need decorations.
And after months of networking, making friends, and handing out my business cards to potential clients, I started getting calls constantly with orders from big companies like Patek Philippe, Baccarat, Hermes, Buccellati, La Perla, Goyard, and others.
And suddenly realized that I am living my childhood dream despite the hard work I am in love with what I do and every single design I make is with passion from my heart.
